Radical Orange is expanding its production team and is looking for a new Shooter/Editor who is excited to start in a full-time role. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative international production companies in Asia. Who do we want: Someone who loves to edit and shoot and wants to tell great stories. Someone who wants to grow their (post)-production skills with us and grow with the company. Who do we not want: Someone who really just wants to direct or someone who only wants to shoot. The ratio will be 75% Post-Production and 25% Production work. What will you be doing: - You will be working on large campaigns for the world’s biggest brands and smaller campaigns for local companies. Always creating a quality story. - Shooting and editing content series, travel films, commercials, corporate films and the occasional hype reel - Maintaining all the camera gear and edit suites/server What skills and experience do we need: General: - A finished degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years experience editing corporate films, ads, online content or long-form content - Someone with Agency and/or Production Company experience. You know how to work in a professional environment and you know how our clients think and what they expect from us Post-Production: - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop on Mac - Some experience in Adobe After Effects on Mac - Understanding of the colour grading process and DaVinci Resolve on Mac - Great attention to detail – you are a perfectionist! - Great technical knowledge. You know your codecs, how to transcode them and when to use them. You know the ins and outs of Premiere and its crazy ways - A good sense of design. You know how to place a super - The ability to think creatively and work independently. We could throw you a brief without a creative concept and you will apply your own creative treatment to the footage/assets Production: - Ability to light and shoot on DSLRs and cameras like the Sony FS7 - Organised and creative problem solver - A hard worker who can work to deadlines. You know what needs to be done and will get it done even if it means working a late one. No 9 – 5 attitude.
