Deluxe is currently seeking an Audio Technician to undertake a variety of duties based in our Audio department. Role and Responsibilities: - Ensure the audio accuracy, quality and sync of audio recordings. - Set up and operate recording and editing equipment to ensure optimal audio quality. - Monitor audio levels to prevent clipping and distortion. - Keep recording and editing tracks order and projects organization according to templates, clients’ documentation properly labeled and organized in the internal storage. - Resolve technical issues during recording and editing sessions and scale to the Head of department if required. - Collaborate with dubbing directors to achieve the requirements of each project. - Collaborate closely with the rest of dubbing teams to resolve any issues related to any technical process involved during the dubbing workflow, especially with mixers. - Ensure that video and audio assets received are suitable for the recording, editing and mixing processes. - Follow and deliver the tasks distributed by the Head of the department according to priorities defined by him on a daily basis. Key Requirements: - The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in audio equipment’s, software and tools involved in the post-production process, as well as: - Proficiency in audio recording, editing and mixing skills are a plus. - Music, sound design and creative skills are a plus. - Attention to detail. - Ability to work under pressure of a deadline. - Ability to adapt new environments, software and technical advances. - Communication skills across all levels (verbal, written). - Be able of applying deep critical thinking to solve difficult problems. - Ability to adapt to different client preferences and project needs. - Knowledge of different types of audio and video formats.
